Welcome to the Rainbow Delegation!
What are Rainbow Delegation Bracelets?
They are bright, plastic, rainbow colored bracelets that show your support for LGBT equality!
Who wears Rainbow Bracelets?
All sorts of people are proud to wear these bracelets (check out our photos and testimonials). Old, young, straight, gay…. It doesn’t matter!
You do not have to be gay, lesbian, transgender, or bi to wear a bracelet… you just have to be an ally!
What does wearing a Rainbow Bracelet mean?
Wearing a bracelet tells those around you that you don’t support homophobic jokes or slurs and that you are a safe person to talk to. Read some of our testimonials to find out what sort of impacts these simple bracelets can have on the world.
How do I get a bracelet? Are they Free?

Hi!
I’ve read the FAQ and understand that you guys don’t ship internationally yet but is there really no way even if I’m only in Canada? I don’t mind convering shipping costs if that’s the problem?
Thanks,
Jasmine
We are working out a system so that we can ship internationally. For right now, if you want to work out a payment that includes postage, please email us at rainbowdelegation@gaycentralvalley.org
I very much want to support your cause but i am a single mom in a bad financial situation but if you would let me know where and how i can get a bracelet to show my support, please let me know.
If you are local, you can pick up a free bracelet at the LGBT Community Center…. if not, you are welcome to request a free bracelet, it just might take a while to get it to you….
I received a free bracelet almost a year ago. This symbolic accessory represents so much and has helped me through the hardest of times. I’ll be donating now. Thank you so much for all you do!
Hi;
Last year I ordered 100 bracelets for my June Pride Month Celebration at the Veterans Hospital in San Juan Puerto Rico for a donation that I paid. These 100 bracelets were given to veterans, employees and visitors that requested them from me. I am the LGBT Program Manager at VA San Juan and I will like to get more bracelets to give away. What can I do?since you mention just mailing to continental US at this time. Puerto Rico is not international shipping we have the same US Postal Service as the 50 states. I will like ta least 25 bracelets to start this time since I have to pay for them myself. Thanks,
Are you no longer offering two different sizes of bracelets? If your not are the ones you are sending out the old small or old large size?
Right now we are only mailing out the Large size. We hope that when we get more volunteers, we can start offering the other sizes again.
Hi Cyndia,
Please email rainbowdelegation@gaycentralvalley.org and our RD Manager will work with you to make this happen!
Glad to hear that the bracelet helped you Rachel! WE love hearing how these little bands of color can make a big difference in people’s lives. If you ever want to submit something to the testimonials page, let us know
Hi! The GSA at my high school is interested in getting bracelets! We were wondering if there was any way we could get free bracelets to hand out to members?
I was sent here by a friend a while ago. I know the rainbow bracelets don’t mean you’re gay or bi or lesbian, etc., but I’m alil afraid that I’ll be mistaken as someone who is. Any idea if that happens often???
What we hear more frequently is that people will ask about what the bracelet means.
“What’s that rainbow thing? are you gay?”
“Well, my orientation isn’t really the point of the bracelet, wearing this just means that I’m an ally for the LGBT community.”
“Any ally? Like… not an enemy?”
“Exactly.”
Obviously people all have their own ways of dealing with the question, and we don’t want anyone feeling uncomfortable, but there have been lots of stories of people feeling safer or better just by seeing another person wearing the bracelet.
Yes! In fact September is our Bracelets for Back to School month (see the tab at the top of the screen). Feel free also to email us at rainbowdelegation@gaycentralvalley.org for more information!
